A few reminders from Mrs Gibson:
- Please remember to send your child in with a water bottles every day. The weather is warmer and the children need to stay hydrated.
- Please listen to your child read at least 4 times a week and sign their diary. It really does make a difference to their learning.
- Please could all children continue to learn their times tables. It has been something that many haven't revised over lockdown and again, knowing the multiplication and division facts is a vital aspect of maths.
I cannot believe we are in the final half term! Where has this year gone?
Our last curriculum Project this year is Blue Abyss:
Grab your wetsuit. We’re going deep into an underwater world of incredible coral and mysterious sea creatures. Can you pick a favourite fish, plant or animal? What do real divers get up to below the surface? What are those bright lights in the distance? It’s a group of bioluminescent sea creatures. What else lurks down underneath the ocean? Flippers on? Snorkel ready? Let’s head into the Blue Abyss.
Our PE day continues to be on a Thursday and as before, please could all children arrive at school wearing appropriate PE clothing. Obviously, with it being summer, there will be opportunities for us to be outside more and should the children need to wear PE kit on these days, I will let them know.
In PSHE, we will be learning about Growing and Changing. Our RE this half term is Sacred Places.
As always, should you have any questions, then please do not hesitate to come and see us.
